Who We Are
We are an all-volunteer organization 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation led by a five-member volunteer board fighting hunger in Kitsap County, WA. We serve people without homes, the elderly, the poor, families with children, those recovering from addiction and anyone who walks through our doors in need of assistance. We provide a safe place with hot meals, pantry foods, clothing, and other basic needs items.
We serve delicious and nutritious meals every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in a safe, home-style environment where our clients are treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. We also provide clothing, pantry food, personal care items, auto fuel cards, and other basic needs items.
Vision
Our vision is to end hunger and restore the quality of life for our community members so that they have a chance at a New Beginning, New Start, and a Brand New Day.
Foundational Scripture
Isaiah 58:6-7Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To lose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; when you see the naked, that you cover him and not hide from your own flesh?
